Armed hold up of a staff drop off bus

A reports was received of a 25 seater drop off bus that was held up by a group of armed youths at 6 mile early (between 1:00 and 01:30 am) on Saturday 24 March 2018,. The Vision City Mega Mall workers escorted by Millennium Security company, had  six (6) female staff and some male on board the 25 seater bus. The bus was recovered the next day along the Maggi Highway near Tubuserea,  about 20 minutes (by road) outside the city, while the staff are still missing. Further updates on this would be made when received.

Advisory: Carjacks/thefts and armed hold up threats are still high for NCD: Staff pick up/drop offs need to be made with the appropriate mitigations after proper assessments of the threats that are prominent in the various areas of business.

Update: 27th March 2018; per Vision City security guards, the bus had been retrieved. All the reportedly missing had returned been located immediately apart from some injuries sustained including knife wounds on some of the male staff.
